1. Entries: Only one entry per person, per day allowed ("one person" means one individual, regardless of the number of e-mail addresses that person maintains). The Hancock County Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for (a) late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted, or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, other computer - or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Contest disruptions, injuries, losses, or damages caused by events beyond the control of Chamber; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest. Prizes will only be awarded to contest winner.
2. Eligibility: Officers, directors and employees and their immediate family members of the Chamber are not eligible to participate in any of the Contests. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Offer void where prohibited. The Chamber can accept only those entries that are completed and submitted in the format designated above.
3. Contest Period: All entries must be received during Contest Period to be eligible to win.
4. Prizes: Prizes vary for each contest. Prizes are not transferable and no substitution or cash exchange is permissible. Contest prizes are to be provided by the Hancock County Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is responsible for contacting winner; however, the Hancock Chamber is not responsible for the delivery of prizes to the winner. All winners must come to that specific prize pick up location during its normal working hours to be eligible.
5. Winner Selection: One (1) prize winner will be selected at random or based on the specific rules of that contest from all eligible entries received during the contest period by a non-bias third party selector. The Chamber agrees to contact the contest winner by e-mail and/or telephone within the first five business days of the month following the end of contest period.
6. General Release: By entering the contest or accepting the prize, entrants release the Chamber and its directors, officers, employees and representatives from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, liabilities, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection to the contest or with the acceptance, possession, or use of the prize.
7. Use of Contest Winner's Name, Likeness, etc.: Except where prohibited by law, entry into the contest constitutes permission to use the Contest winner's name, address, likeness, and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. As a condition of being awarded the prize, the contest winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, and, except where prohibited by law, consent to the use of his/her name, addresses, likeness, and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation.
8. Winner's List and Contest Rules: The name of the contest winners and the contest Rules will be posted on the Chamber's social media platforms.
9. Miscellaneous: The contest will be governed, construed, and interpreted under the laws of the State of Mississippi. Entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the Chamber, which are final and binding in all respects. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Chamber reserves the right to change these rules or cancel the contest at any time, at its sole discretion. Entrants who violate these rules, tamper with the operation of the contest, or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to the Chamber, the contest, or any other entrant (in each case a determination of the Chamber's sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from the contest. The Chamber reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the contest.
